Those other games...
A couple of years ago VMK gave a 2-week trial for Toon Town the first time you got Top Ten in Jungle Cruise (we REALLY only wanted the Safari Tent Room ), so I tried it. Very cartoonish, and seemed more like the puzzle games I used to play than a social interaction game. I don't think I went on 3 times, maybe 2.
I never finished creating a character in POTC Online. And heard from others that "we really didn't know what to do".
Their (Disney) newest thing, and likely much of the reason for VMK's demise is D-Gamer (aka by Ski as D-Lamer), that opened uh about the 15th of May. That was certainly disappointing to read about. You CAN play it online, and you DON'T need a home game system to play, but to get the GOOD stuff (i.e. clothes and all the things we've grown to enjoy in VMK), you had to go buy the Chronicles of Narnia game for your home system. Sorry Disney, nice try.

Re: Those other games...
Tried the POTC game..not my thing I guess..Did make a character..
But when you are used to PurryPaws..that lady pirate didn't seem to be me.
Didn't stick with it long enough to catch on and I don't like the sound of the plot.
Never was good with a sword.
Looked at D-Gamer..
Made a Pixie..
But I was looking for something that would engage all my family..
Still hoping VFK fills this bill.

Re: Those other games...
I'm more than a little concerned about this. This, of course, isn't Disney, but it appears that someone thinks they will be able to swipe the logo from VMK and build another VMK. Hunting them down is even more interesting... Notice the address of the first portion..

The second entry has a blurb for VMKUNLEASHED listed under fallingstarproductions.net. These kids aren't even using their domain email addresses - Hyperdude? I'm gonna take that seriously?

Re: Those other games...
POTC is really stupid. So is Toontown. I got on toontown maybe twice and maybe one other time on one of my i'm bored and have nothing to do days. And as for POTC i actually kinda enjoyed it, until i ran out of stuff to do because i wasn't paying for the game...
honestly i think they are both quite pointless.

Same here, and definitely not my kind of thing either.. at least VFK hasn't closed down.
